Our summer camp concluded with great enthusiasm, offering children a fun-filled experience with ample learning opportunities. The vibrant displays showcased a range of activities, including Fencing, Taekwondo,Yoga, Dance, Music, Art & Craft, Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Skating, Table-Tennis and Horse Riding. DPS Rishikesh celebrated Mother's Day with great enthusiasm. Dr. Bindu Dey, Former Secretary, Technology Development Board, was the Chief Guest. She motivated mothers to prioritize their own lives alongside motherhood. A presentation on child psychology by Ms. Chitrakshi Tewari and Mrs. Sakshi Raikwal engaged mothers in fun games. Principal Mrs. Neelam Thapliyal emphasized the preciousness of motherhood, inspiring mothers to cherish their roles. The event fostered a sense of community, with mothers actively participating in activities and enjoying each other's company. It was a memorable day celebrating motherhood.

On April 26th, 2025, DPS Rishikesh celebrated a significant milestone with its Investiture Ceremony, marking the official induction of newly elected student leaders. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and sacred mantras, setting a dignified tone for the occasion.

Distinguished guests, Pro VC Mr. Keshav Mohan and Director Mr. Sanjay Kuqsal, delivered motivational speeches, highlighting the importance of discipline and leadership. Principal Ms. Neelam Thapliyal congratulated the newly elected leaders, urging them to embrace their roles with dedication and passion.

The newly elected Prefectorial Body for 2025-26 includes student leaders who will take on various responsibilities, including leadership positions in academics, sports, and cultural activities. The student leaders were presented with badges and sashes, symbolizing their new roles.

Parents were proud to witness their children take on leadership roles, and the ceremony marked a special moment for families to celebrate their child's growth and achievements.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Ms. Deepika Joshi, as the newly elected council members prepared to lead with enthusiasm and commitment.

We are delighted to announce that an Orientation Session was conducted respectively for the parents of classes Pre-Nursery to 2 and 3 to 12 parents. The Orientation began with a Meditation session by Ms. Pratima. The teachers, Ms. Sakshi Raikwal, Ms. Apoorva and Ms. Chitrakshi Tiwari oriented the parents and introduced the learning pedagogy to the parents. They also shared the rules and regulations and code of conduct of the school with parents. Principal, Ms. Neelam Thapliyal enlightened the parents on Soft Parenting and shared with the parents the need to make our children resilient future ready.

The Himalayan Adventure Camp at Kempty Falls, Mussoorie

Outdoor camps for school students are incredibly beneficial. They provide hands-on learning experiences, boost physical and mental health, and help develop important skills like teamwork and problem-solving. Plus, they offer a great opportunity for students to bond and build strong friendships. Overall, these camps support academic, social and personal growth in a fun and engaging way.

At DPS Rishikesh, the commitment to holistic student development is integral to the school's philosophy. As a result, outdoor camps are deemed essential for every class. One such initiative is the Himalayan Adventure Camp at Kempty Falls, Mussoorie, where students from grade 6 and above engage in a variety of outdoor adventure activities like archery, learning different types of rope tying techniques, trekking, zipline, river crossing through rope, lunch in the serene lap of nature.

The student connect to the nature and feel at home when they spend time in the lap of nature.
