DPS Rishikesh Honours Grandparents with a Joyful Celebration

On December 13, 2024, DPS Rishikesh hosted a heartwarming Grandparents' Day celebration, filled with love, laughter, and enthusiasm. The event began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra.

Young students from Pre-Nursery to Class 2 showcased their talents, dedicating sweet dances and songs to their grandparents. The grandparents then participated in entertaining games and activities, including 'Hold the Ball', 'Blow the Glass', 'Rampwalk', and 'Antakshari', each with a unique twist.

Principal Ms. Neelam Thapliyal expressed her sincere gratitude to the grandparents for making the event special. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sakshi Raikwal.

The celebration strengthened the bond between grandparents and grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
